Geek Cinema Speaks: Click Clack

Click Clack is a perfect example of why I love short films and why I love animation. On the surface, it’s a cute story about a boy and his friends, the robots.

Click Clack is a perfect example of why I love short films and why I love animation. On the surface, it's a cute story about a boy and his friends, the robots. But watch closely enough, and you may find yourself wondering about everything from our narrow definitions of language, intelligence and ability to the assumptions we make about children's emotional capacities.

Like many rich works of art, Click Clack is bittersweet. I recommend screening before sharing with sensitive viewers.
