Josh Valcarcel is a former associate online photo editor at WIRED. He oversees the Entertainment and Gear verticals and regularly photographs product still-lifes and portraits across the brand. Before joining WIRED, Valcarcel received a bachelor of science degree from Brooks Institute. Prior to that, he served as a mass communication specialist in the Navy, where he spent five years reporting and producing stories for radio, magazine, and televised broadcast. He currently resides in San Francisco.
